I have clients in London who send me their art and we design the frames via Skype. I then ship it back framed. This has been a lot of fun and we have done around 15 pieces so far. Here is a painting of a mandala by an Indian artist. We used a 4″ gold ribbed moulding for the outer frame and a black & white ribbed moulding for the inner moulding. We then added a large gold bead filet to complete the design.

Below are two mandalas by the same Indian artist. This is a triple stacked moulding design. On the Red one we used 4″ Black ornate lacquer moulding for the outer frame, a red pinstripe moulding for the middle frame and a 1 1/2 ornate black lacquer mould for the innermost frame. On the blue mandala we used the same design but with a blue pinstripe mouldling for the middle frame.

Here is a print by another Indian artist of a Sanskrit mantra. We used an ornate gold ribbed Italian moulding with deep brown hand-wrapped silk liner plus large gold bead filet.
